Foods Full of Minerals

Every person should take care of his body since your body belongs to the One who creates it and you are answerable to Him so one should keep the body in good health and a healthy body needs necessary nutrients and minerals so that body should function properly and so to have a strong mind too. There are certain foods which are rich in these minerals which work to give body strength in different ways. Let’s first discuss about those minerals which helps maintaining our good health to our body.

Calcium – makes are bones and teeth strong.

Phosphorus – also works on bones & teeth to give them strength.

Magnesium – helps in functioning of kidney, heart and muscles.

Iron – helps producing haemoglobin, carries oxygen, helps in muscle contraction, its content metabolize proteins.

Zinc –does work with sense of smell, strengthen immune system, build up proteins etc.

Manganese – strengthening bones etc.

Cobalt – helps in producing red blood cells so to prevent anemia

Potassium – helps in functioning of nervous system, helps in better movement of muscles etc.

Copper – Producing energy and helps in making tissues strong.

Iodine – works for betterment of thyroid glands that controls energy level etc.

Let’s now discuss foods which are in minerals essential for our body.

1- Legumes

It’s a combine name for many foods that includes lentils, peas, beans, chickpeas, soybeans, tamarind, peanuts etc. rich in iron, potassium, and magnesium having no fats and cholesterol so they are healthy for diet.

2- Meat

Provides proteins in good amount and is full of iron, phosphorus, cobalt and zinc. Seafood is also full of zinc and iron contents.

3- Sweet Potatoes

They are having bulk amount of potassium, manganese, and phosphorus. Potassium helps in protecting blood vessel walls from being hard and protecting from damages of oxidization.

4- Nuts

Nuts have contents of sodium which helps in maintaining blood pressure and transferring of nerve signals for better functioning of nervous system. Cashew and walnuts are rich in copper and magnesium.

5Mushrooms

Mushrooms are rich in potassium, copper selenium and zinc so eating them is good to have minerals in body.

6Celery

Consuming in the whole world, it is good for weight loss. It has chloride that balances fluids of body. It helps in digestion of food.

7- Whole grains

These are rich in magnesium and also selenium which protects cells from oxidation so to give health to immune system.

8 – Oatmeal

It is a morning food which has many nutrients. It has fiber and minerals like phosphorus, potassium and iron.

9 – Eggs

Eggs are rich in many minerals such as calcium, selenium, phosphorus. They are important to have a balanced diet.

10 – Rice

Rice gives energy and does well in digestion of food. Rice is rich in magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, and zinc. It also slows down process of age.

11- Banana

It provides manganese, potassium and copper. You can eat it throughout the year.

12- Pineapples

It helps in production of enzymes and boosts immune system. It is a juicy fruit which is full of magnesium, potassium, copper and manganese.
